Summary:

The Expeditor is responsible to move, maintain and record status on electro-mechanical assemblies and related hardware throughout the facilities.

Essential duties & Responsibilities:

  • Expedites and moves all assigned electro-mechanical assemblies and related materials throughout the facilities.
  • Maintains and records status of assemblies as they are manufactured and reports them on computerized tracking system
  • Processes TFRs (Test Failure Reports) through the manufacturing rework and test cycle
  • Responsible for reporting to immediate Supervisor and/or Production Control Manager any bottlenecks or related problems that may inhibit the standard thru-put-rate for that product
  • Fills material shortages, as required
  • Reports losses, damages, scraps and rework to area supervision
  • Ability to understand and utilize required computer programs in daily work assignments
  • Knowledgeable of all job related standard operating procedures relative to assigned function
  • Able to lift and/or move electro-mechanical assemblies and related hardware throughout the manufacturing work centers
  • Able to communicate clearly and precisely
  • Capable of maintaining accurate status reports and records of assemblies as they are manufactured and report such to supervision and/or Production Control
  • Capable of maintaining expected levels of productivity for assigned tasks
  • Proficient in meeting all Company Quality Standards required for job function
  • Complies with all Company Safety Regulations and maintain a clean, non-hazardous work environment
  • Capable of performing all job-related tasks in accordance with Company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Obtains Op Sheets and Brady Labels for kit releases
  • Clearly writes serial numbers on Travel Tags per Production Control's directions.
  • Supports and adheres to all 5S procedures and activities throughout manufacturing facilities
  • Possesses a cooperative attitude and be able to deal effectively with co-workers, supervision and job-related contacts
  • Complies with all related Company policies and procedures

    Skills:

    • High School diploma or equivalent
    • Prefer a minimum of 1-3 years related experience, but not required
    • Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure
    • Able to compute rates and percentages
    • Skilled in the use of software programs such as MS Word, Excel and Outlook

    Compensation and Benefits:

    Compensation ranges for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At TTM Technologies, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on each individual set of circumstances.     Additional compensation: An annual or quarterly company bonus may apply based on position assignment. Positions hired for alternative shift may be eligible for a shift premium based on the assigned shift and location.
