Position Summary

We are seeking a highly talented and motivated Associate Director, Design Studio to join our dynamic Global Growth team at IPG Mediabrands. In this pivotal role, you will focus on delivering exceptional presentation and graphic design work to support New Business pitches, Communications, Events, and Key Client meetings. As a member of our larger Design Studio team, comprising 20+ designers across IPG Mediabrands, you will play an integral part in shaping the visual narrative of our projects, ensuring a consistent and impactful design identity.


Responsibilities

  1. Creative Design Execution

    1. Develop visually stunning and on-brand presentations, pitch materials, and graphics for high-profile opportunities including new business pitches, communications, and events.
    2. Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, translating strategic briefs into compelling visual outputs.


  2. Collaboration & Communication

    1. Partner closely with the Global Growth team to craft design solutions that address strategic objectives and resonate with target audiences.
    2. Act as a trusted advisor for senior stakeholders, ensuring all design deliverables are aligned with the company's vision and objectives.


  3. Team Leadership

    1. Support and mentor junior designers within the studio team, fostering creativity and excellence.
    2. Drive team collaboration, ensuring design consistency and innovation across all projects.


  4. Innovation & Quality Control

    1. Stay ahead of design trends and tools, bringing innovative ideas to elevate the quality of deliverables.
    2. Maintain meticulous attention to detail, ensuring all work meets the highest creative standards and deadlines.


  5. Strategic Input

    1. Contribute to the development of new business initiatives, offering creative solutions that differentiate IPG Mediabrands from competitors.
    2. Provide strategic design insights during brainstorming sessions and team reviews.





Desired Skills & Experience

  • 7+ years of experience in graphic design, presentation design, or related fields.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing experience in new business pitches, corporate communications, and events.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and presentation tools like PowerPoint and Keynote.
  • Familiarity with motion graphics, video editing, or interactive design is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex ideas into visually compelling designs.
  • A strong sense of typography, layout, and color theory.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Collaborative mindset with a passion for problem-solving and innovation.

The salary range for this position is posted below. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position, market considerations, budgetary considerations, tenure and standing with the Company (applicable to current employees), as well as the employee's/applicant's skill set, level of experience, and qualifications.
