THE JOB:

The Workforce Management Specialist improves the employee experience through outstanding customer service and efficient operational facilitation. You will be responsible for creating and implementing scheduling solutions by utilizing innovative software and supplying staffing to all departments appropriate to dynamic business demands. You will play a vital role in our mission to own the internal guest's experience, delivering on S.H.O.W. Basics to both Staff and Leadership creating WOW memories that last far beyond the moment.

THE STARTING PAY RATE: $22.50 / Per Hour

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on workforce management software and related processes; track, monitor, and communicate all system issues and downtime effectively
  • Develop scheduling solutions that meet departmental needs while accommodating current business demands and exceptions
  • Collaborate with department leaders to ensure optimal staffing levels and to develop strategies for improved efficiency
  • Recommend scheduling adjustments and create innovative business models
  • Identify best practices to enhance staffing in compliance with existing labor agreements while maintaining ethical and equitable scheduling processes
  • Assess the balance between optimal scheduling, service expectations, and adherence to current legal and legislative requirements
  • Work collaboratively to manage daily scheduling operations, including handling leave requests and call-outs
  • Monitor and manage Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as Service Level, Occupancy, Abandon Rates, Average Speed of Answer (ASA), and Average Handle Time (AHT) on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • Minimum of at least 18 years of age
  • High school diploma, GED or educational equivalent
  • At least 2 years of experience with scheduling and multi-line phone use
  • Previous experience utilizing Virtual Roster and Kronos software
  • Experience with data analysis and payroll
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all stakeholders
  • Previous experience working in a similar hotel or resort style setting
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Must be able to work various shifts, including weekends and all holidays
  • Ability to effectively communicate in both English and Spanish, in both written and oral forms
