Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work hybrid with our client in Grand Prairie, TX. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

  • We seek a talented engineer who enjoys holistic system thinking to support the system design and requirements (SDR) through the development, integration, and verification activities for integration programs that take the PAC-3 MSE Missile Segment and extend its functionality to other combat systems.
  • Work with interdisciplinary subject matter experts to analyze and document system requirements in DOORS.
  • Assist with system architecture analysis using tools like Cameo to assess and capture system use cases, interfaces, timing, and designs.
  • Capture verification artifacts to support Functional Configuration Audit (FCA).

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $72.40/hr

Hours: 4/10A-1st Shift

Length: Temporary (12 months)

Job Requirements

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace Engineering or Computer Engineering or Computer Science or Software Engineering or Electrical Engineering or Engineering (Undeclared) or Mechanical Engineering or STEM (Science/Technology/Engineering/Mathematics).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with DOORS.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with Cameo.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with system design concepts and trade-offs.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with C++ and MATLAB.
  • Familiarity with fundamentals of missile system concepts.
  • Prior experience with DoD projects, particularly Patriot Advanced Capability-3 (PAC-3)/IAMD.
  • Willing to learn detailed missile/ground system/fire control theory and operation.

  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
