This position would serve as the operator for locations such as Houston, New York, Balboa and would be responsible for day to day activities related to storage, blending and delivery of petroleum products while also managing key stakeholders and 3rd party contracts for bunker/bulk deliveries

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for scheduling product movements and effectively tracking through the completion of physical delivery of products
  • Maintain routine communication with affiliate and third party carrier to provide traders updates on current month flows or potential operational issues
  • Liaise with traders, inspector, agent, ship brokers, trade counterparties, storage terminals and internal departments to ensure smooth physical operations
  • Gather and disseminate market information to facilitate effective and efficient trader decisions
  • Assist and trouble shoot as needed to allow accounting to invoice customers in a timely manner
  • Manage ad hoc projects and operational activity as assigned.

Required experience & skills

  • 3-5 years of relevant industry experience
  • Can work collaboratively to complete tasks
  • Ability to be flexible and work to deadlines under pressure.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills leading to effective decision making. Pays attention to detail and can think independently to identify discrepancies on external reports and inconsistencies with internally captured data
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written. Comfortable communicating directly with external customers and vendors via both email and telephone
  • Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office and comfortable learning and operating in different computer systems
  • Prior experience as an operations analyst/operator/scheduler preferred.

Pay Range: $80,000- $100,000 USD*

*The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
