Position Title: Quality Lead Technician
Wage: $19-$21/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 7am-3:30pm QPS Employment Group is hiring a Quality Lead Technician at a company in Oconomowoc, WI. Quality Lead Technician Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Audit production for compliance to quality work instructions - Supply training and gauging assistance to production - Assist in Quality record maintenance - Perform incoming inspections and assist in maintaining records - Assist with maintaining the gauge calibration program - Assist with performing and maintaining measurement equipment and gauges - Assist in maintaining product sample retention program - Assist in defining and documenting product quality requirements - Assist in monitoring company quality performance and coordinating quality improvement effort - Serve as a back up to the Quality Supervisor - Serve as a back up to the Quality Tech Quality Lead Technician Requirements: - High school diploma or GED equivalent - Basic math, calculator, and computer skills - Minimum 1 year of shop floor inspection experience - MRA Training - Ability to use available measurement and gauging equipment - Ability to follow instructions and perform assigned tasks with minimal supervision - Ability to communicate effectively - Ability to organize and prioritize work assignments - Ability to analyze situations and make judgments on quality issues based on factual information - Adaptability to changing methods and fast-paced work environment - Motivated self-starter, diligent and aware of quality issues and concerns - Willingness to expand education through in-house training, technical courses, etc. - Willingness to support quality and production QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the Midwest.
