Summary:

The Solution Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting our purpose to create lasting value for those we serve by examining, improving and designing IT systems and processes to meet user requirements and business goals. The Solution Analyst will determine business needs and processes to assist with developing, implementing, and maintaining the organization's applications (I.e. Eclipse (ERP), Base (CRM) & Product). This person will work with cross-functional teams to understand workflows, goals, and processes and builds standardized configurations to ensure that solutions align with business objectives. The Solution Analyst will create documentation to serve as a reference for the organization and will be an advocate for the junction between the ease of doing our work and standardization. This individual displays behaviors that support our culture, our 5 P's and our purpose of creating lasting value for those we serve.

Key Responsibilities & Essential Functions:



  • Analyze, configure, document, and train users on technology solutions best practices and how to maximize usage
  • Ensure software functionality aligns with the organization's specific business processes and workflows, while minimizing custom code changes
  • Leads through change management and educating the business through the power of the Progress P how and why new or changing solutions are important, necessary and beneficial
  • Understand the business workflow needs and recommend software modifications
  • Provide proactive visibility and effectively communicates delivery targets, commitments and progress
  • Collaborate with different departments to gather information to create a workflow to meet their needs
  • Thoroughly test modifications and upgrades to identify and resolve any issues before production deployments
  • Analyze and map all relevant and changing business processes and IT infrastructure
  • Research rules that might impact solution delivery, such as compliance data governance or organizational requirements
  • Optimize results by leveraging feedback conversations with internal Partners
  • Participate in meetings regularly to assess issues and identify options for continuous improvement
  • Conduct full lifecycle analytics projects
  • Promote our culture and our 5 P's

Job Requirements/Specifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience preferred
  • Working technical knowledge of a broad range of technology solutions including but not limited to: computer and collaboration solutions, networking, and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
  • IT business experience in sales and distribution
  • Ability to work in the office
