Job Summary: (includes but is not limited to the following, other duties may assigned) The Manager of Electrical Engineering will be responsible for providing electrical engineering services to support safe, economic and reliable fleet operations. They will act to develop and implement Calpine Engineering standards and will be responsible for setting electrical testing policy for the Calpine Fleet. The Manager of Electrical Engineering will be responsible for all Electrical Engineering testing and maintenance programs, including Transformer Reliability, Battery Testing, HV circuit breaker Testing and Grounding Programs. The Manager of Electrical Engineering will be responsible for identifying and implementing new programs to improve fleet reliability and safety. The Manager of Electrical Engineering will be responsible for defining commissioning practices for new construction projects. This job will be split between offices and travel to the plants.
