THE JOB:

As a Barista at Vdara, you will be responsible for setting the stage for guest experience with your welcoming smile and service. By understanding their unique stories and needs, you will own their experience to create WOW memories they will carry with them far and beyond their stay with us.

THE STARTING RATE: 14.8508 plus tips

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Take and place order, and serve and garnish food and drinks efficiently and accurately in work area as applicable

• Collect money, while following all proper cash handling and comp procedures with Point-of-Sales (POS) system

• Maintain the cleanliness, sanitation, and the appearance of the front and back of house, clear tables and counters; sweep and maintain the cleanliness of the dining area without interfering with the comfort of guests

• Unload warehouse orders and stock the orders to designated storage maintaining organization, stock and replenish products as needed in work station, counters, tables, etc.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• One year of experience as a food handler in a similar, high-volume, fast paced environment

• One year of guest service experience

• Experience in a coffeehouse environment as barista

• Takes pride in their work

• Looks forward to working with a team to provide positive experiences

• Describes themselves as detail-oriented and can handle multiple tasks at one time

• Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
