Job Description We are seeking an experienced environmental engineer, geologist, or scientist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience performing and/or managing Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments as part of due diligence services and/or Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality's (LDEQ) Risk Evaluation/Corrective Action Program (RECAP). Key Responsibilities: Conduct and manage Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) in accordance with ASTM standards and client-specific requirements. Perform and oversee Phase II Environmental Site Assessments, including soil, groundwater, and vapor sampling, and analysis. Prepare detailed reports summarizing findings and recommendations for Phase I and Phase II ESAs. Ensure compliance with LDEQ's RECAP guidelines and other relevant regulations. Coordinate with clients, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders to facilitate project completion. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff members. Assist in the development of project proposals and cost estimates. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering, or a related field. 5-10 years of experience in performing and/or managing Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments. In-depth knowledge of LDEQ's RECAP guidelines and other relevant environmental regulations. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Professional certifications (e.g., Professional Geologist, Professional Engineer) are a plus. Preferred Skills: Experience with environmental database management and GIS software. Familiarity with risk assessment and remediation techniques. Project management experience.
