Maintenance Electrician Responsibilities: - Install, replace and modify electrical wiring, controls and equipment in industrial settings - Perform routine maintenance, inspections and repairs on electrical systems, components and machinery - Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical problems, identifying and resolving faults efficiently - Adhere to safety regulations and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment - Maintain accurate records of electrical work performed, including inspections, repairs and maintenance - Work effectively with other team members, including engineers, technicians and maintenance staff Requirements for Maintenance Electrician: - High School Diploma or equivalent - At least three years of experience as an industrial electrician - Journeyman electrician license preferred - Strong electrical knowledge and troubleshooting skills - Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams - Ability to diagnose hydraulic/electrical problems - Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment - Excellent mechanical aptitude - Ability to lift, carry and manipulate heavy equipment - Ability to work in various environments, including confined spaces and heights QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the Midwest.
