PLM UX and Research Intern

You will work directly with the UX and product teams helping them build understanding of the user requirements and optimizing the user experience for PLM solutions.

Your Team:

You will be a core member of the PLM UX and Research team working side by side with UX designers on all aspects of the product development process starting with user research. Helping develop these solutions contributes directly to PTC's Digital Thread strategy.You will experience how their day-to-day work helps PTC achieve its goals.

Your Day to Day:

  • Coordinate and manage customer research studies
  • Interview key stakeholders
  • Talking with SMEs and customers to learn key tasks and pain points.
  • Build workflows and explore concept solutions.
  • Build shared user understanding by creating UX artifacts.

Qualifications

Qualified candidates will have experience in some of these areas:

  • Education: UX Design and Research related fields - User Research, Human Factors in Information Design, Interaction Design, Digital Design, Product Design, Humanistic Studies, Visual Arts
  • Software skills: Figma, Dovetail, Adobe Creative Suite( Photoshop, Illustrator), Miro
  • Relevant UX activities: UX design, user research, user interviewing, wireframing, UX/UI prototyping, visual design
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
