Oceaneering International Inc. Oceaneering Technologies (OII-OTECH) supports the US Navy's submarine rescue mission through the Submarine Rescue Operations and Maintenance Contract (SROMC). Oceaneering partners with the Navy's Undersea Rescue Command (URC) to provide 24/7 world-wide submarine rescue capability to US, allied and other foreign navy requests to assist disabled submarines (DISSUB) or submersible intervention and rescue. OII-OTECH is seeking a Training and Qualification Specialist who will coordinate and schedule operational and maintenance training for OTECH staff associated with the SROMC. This specialist will report to the Operations Manager and will work closely with the staff of URC to establish and enforce submarine rescue system Quality Assurance and maintenance procedures as well as operational and safety standards. The position will also monitor and report all aspects of Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) to ensure compliance with government and Oceaneering standards. Base pay rate for this position is $45.00 to $50.00 Duties & Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL * Assist the Operations Manager in the organization, training, and certification of sufficient OTECH teams to operate all submarine rescue systems and supporting equipment to sustain at sea operations and in port maintenance. Qualifications
REQUIRED * Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering related field. Commensurate experience will be considered. DESIRED * To perform this job successfully, an individual should have complete knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
