TEAM UP WITH US! The Rental Power Operations Manager oversees and manages the day-to-day activities of our Rental Power Rental Coordinators and Yard Specialist, ensuring equipment availability, and maintaining excellent customer relationships. As the Rental Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing operational efficiency and upholding our company's reputation for excellence. Your leadership skills will be essential in maintaining a well-functioning and productive work environment. Work is performed under general supervision and is moderately complex. DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES? WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Oversee and manage rental and yard operational activities of assigned location, ensuring equipment availability to meet customer needs and expectations; ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
- Oversee and manage logistics of equipment transportation, delivery and pick-up to meet customer demands.
- Oversee and manage the check-in and check-out policies for all rental equipment at assigned locations.
- Collaborate with Asset Management and other Operations Managers to ensure maximum utilization of the rental fleet.
- Develop, innovate, recommend, implement and assess measures to improve methods, performance, and quality of service.
- Ensure continuous improvement of rental operations in the areas of financial performance (cost control) of the rental fleet and customer satisfaction through the quality delivery of Warren CAT rental products and services.
- Communicate with Account Managers regarding Warren CAT unit rentals and sales.
- Ensure accuracy of bulk inventory stored in assigned rental locations.
- Interpret, implement, and communicate company/departmental policies and procedures; enforce all city, state, federal and company safety policies, procedures and regulations.
- Communicate, comply with, and promote WarrenCAT Environmental Health and Safety policies.
- Responsible for the completion of budgeted costs for freight, bulk inventory, fuel, and environmental fee accounts.
- Maintain appropriate overhead expenditures to manage areas (communications, tooling, etc.).
- Prepare and analyze departmental metrics and reports to provide insights and recommendations for enhancing operations.
- Responsible for developing customer rental experience training.
- Responsible for developing equipment training for Yard Specialists.
- Supervisory responsibilities: Directly supervise Rental Power Rental Coordinators and Yard Specialists. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or 5-7years industry related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Previous supervisor or managerial experience preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of Power Generation products is preferred but not required.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Strong inter-personal and customer service skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Valid Driver's license and clean driving record.
