Manager, Software Quality

1. Develops, implements, and manages processes to ensure that products meet required specifications for quality, function, and reliability prior to delivery.
2. Identifies and sets appropriate quality standards and parameters for products.
3. Communicates quality standards and parameters to QA team, product development team, and other appropriate staff.
4. Coordinates product-testing processes.
5. Identifies and analyzes issues, bugs, defects, and other problems, particularly when problems recur in multiple products; recommends and facilitates solutions to these issues.
6. Reviews client, customer, and user feedback.
7. Keeps current with market trends and demands.
8. Performs other functionally related duties as assigned.

* Bachelor's degree in Business or IT, in lieu of a degree a minimum of four years related work experience
* Deep knowledge of the testing process, past experience as a SQAA or SDET.
* Audit of work to validate adherence to COE standards.
* Leadership skills; accepts responsibility for outcomes of one's work. Encourages others to take responsibility.
* Provides encouragement and support to others to accept responsibility; does not accept others' denial of responsibility
* Sets standards for excellence to achieve quality, productivity and service
