We're looking for a Technical Expert with 8 years of experience on Linux server management and on-call support.

What will you be doing:

* Linux Server Management: Deploy, configure, and maintain Linux servers across private cloud infrastructure. Monitor system performance and ensure optimal uptime and reliability. Troubleshoot and resolve system-level issues promptly.

* Patching and Upgrades: Plan and execute patch management processes for Linux servers to address vulnerabilities and maintain compliance. Test patches in staging environments before production deployment. Maintain up-to-date system documentation for patching schedules and procedures.

* Steady State Support: Provide day-to-day operational support for Linux-based systems. Manage server health checks, performance tuning, and routine maintenance. Implement and monitor system backups and disaster recovery processes.

* On-Call Support: Participate in a rotational on-call schedule to address critical incidents and ensure rapid response to outages or degradations. Perform root cause analysis for incidents and implement preventive measures.

* Project Support: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, deploy, and enhance private cloud solutions. Contribute to infrastructure modernization initiatives, including automation and orchestration efforts. Support integration of new technologies or tools into the existing environment.

* Security and Compliance: Apply security best practices to Linux systems, including vulnerability scanning and remediation. Ensure compliance with organizational and industry standards for data protection and system hardening.

* Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Create and maintain detailed documentation for system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides. Provide training and mentorship to junior team members as needed. 8+ years of hands-on experience managing Linux servers (RHEL, SUSE, etc.).
