Posting Summary |
Rutgers University-Newark (RU-N), an urban public research university and anchor institution, located in Newark, New Jersey, a city of promise is seeking a Data Assessment Coordinator to assist with data management and technical assistance with accreditation data collection software-Watermark Student Learning and Licensure (
SLL). Reporting to Director of Teacher Preparation and Innovation in the Department of Urban Education, School of Arts and Sciences-Newark, this Data Assessment Coordinator (Coordinator) will use
SLL to develop and maintain data collection systems and applications for
SLL and edTPA, which the Department uses to monitor and assess student and course performance for program improvement, evaluation, and accreditation. The Coordinator will provide technical support to faculty, staff, and students to facilitate the robust use of
SLL.
This position is responsible for and not limited to the following:
- Thoroughly understanding of Watermark SLL.
- Attending training and webinars/
- Performing data entry.
- Setting up courses, assessments, and rubrics.
- Providing training and technical assistance.
- Running reports and analyzes data.
- Working to integrate SLL with Rutgers applications such as Canvas.
- Organizing and streamlining accreditation-related data collection methods.

Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience |
- Requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
- Requires up to two years relevant experience in an administrative function, good communication and interpersonal skills, and computer literacy.

- Experience with Watermark Student Learning and Licensure (SLL) software.

- Experience with data entry, data management, and data management software.
