Where you will work
The Lewiston mill is the largest of Clearwater Paper's facilities, producing both paperboard and tissue product, and boasting over 1200 talented employees. Approximately two hours away from Clearwater Paper's headquarters in Spokane, Washington, the Lewiston paper mill is a key component in Clearwater Paper's business strategy. This location offers employees an opportunity to learn both sides of the business while influencing key business decisions and outcomes.

Located on the border of Idaho and Washington, Lewiston provides a host of opportunities for those who love the outdoors including fishing, boating, camping, and skiing. What you will need
Successful candidates must be responsible, safety conscious individuals who possess the following qualifications:



  • Must Have completed 2nd year of an accredited electrical apprenticeship.
  • Must hold an Idaho electrical apprentice license or be able to transfer their hours to Idaho state in order to acquire one within a reasonable time.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must have a high school diploma or certified equivalency.
  • Must be physically capable of performing the work of the trade with reasonable accommodation.


Successful applicants will possess the following attributes:



  • The ability to work in an Industrial, hot, and humid environment.
  • The ability to work with and around high-speed equipment and high noise areas.
  • The ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Including FR rated clothing.
  • Comfortable with heights.
  • Must be willing and capable of learning and utilizing secondary maintenance skills such as instrumentation and refrigeration.
  • Able to work overtime as required.


Wage at 4001 apprenticeship hours is $35.71/hour with proof of apprentice hours from Idaho state. Digital process meter, company listed hand tools, tool bag, along with FR rated clothing will be provided by Clearwater paper.

All job offers are contingent upon a pre-employment physical examination, physical capabilities test, drug test, and a satisfactory background check.

Upon being hired, candidates will complete the Idaho State Electrical Apprentice program to become Journeyman Electrician's. This program is not designed for those already holding a Journeyman's license
