Summary: Reporting to the AVP Operational Risk, the Risk Oversight Coordinator is responsible for providing clerical, administrative, and project support for risk and compliance management activities. Assists other department managers with administrative functions. Will have exposure to varying types of risk assessments, due diligence, and program enhancement initiatives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Performing basic office tasks, such as data entry, responding and sending emails, updating documents.
  • Assist with coordination of risk and compliance activities
  • Assist with maintaining technology and third-party inventories
  • Maintain organized inventory of third party due diligence and monitoring documentation
  • Note taking at meetings, preparing materials, gathering information from other business units
  • Assist with control inventory and validation efforts
  • Other tasks as assigned by management. May include daily or routine functions related to risks within the departments, including requests that are submitted by external agencies to ensure security and compliance with regulators.
  • Assist with documentation for audits
  • Assist with enterprise risk management dashboard data collection, input, and analysis
  • Validate and analyze data input, track trends, identify gaps
  • Maintaining positive relationships with vendors, customers, and coworkers.
  • Coordinates incoming correspondence, visitors, and telephone calls.
  • Coordinates activities to ensure timely submission of documents or information that may be required of several staff personnel to complete a major project
  • Conducts data aggregation and analysis to assist with identifying efficiency or program performance improvement opportunities
  • Completes compliance training and testing and complies with bank, federal, and state regulations as required. Complies with Bank Policies and Procedures. Adheres to departmental and bank-wide service standards.

Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university preferred; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior experience in Risk Management a plus.

Certifications, Licenses and/or registrations: N/A

Computer Skills: Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel); Enterprise-level databases and systems exposure, database management; report writing a plus.
