What You Can Expect This Environmental Development and Permitting Intern role is an opportunity to work with a Global Leader in Renewables Development. The Environmental Intern will work to support ENGIE's Development Pipeline in North America and help to ensure that Projects are following best management practices (BMPs) to minimize environmental impacts and maximize biodiversity value of commercial-scale Renewables Projects. In this role the Intern will support biodiversity studies, surveys, and micro siting efforts to minimize wildlife and wetland impacts, and support the Advisor on compliance obligations, preparing development projects for construction-stage efforts, and support the pursuit of federal and state permits where necessary. The Intern will have the opportunity to coordinate with a variety of cross-functional teams, including Legal, Land Use, and Engineering obligations.

Compensation Hourly Range: $27.00 - $34.00 USD hourly This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.
