Salary Range: $49,000 - $59,000

Our production group, technologies, & products are at the heart of aerospace industry and the world's leading aircraft jet engine & gearbox manufacturers at our Falconer, NY location.

Job Responsibilities:



  • Metallographic sample preparation as per national & international standards


  • Metallurgical testing like microstructure rating, carbide rating, grain size, retained austenite measurement, residual stress measurement etc.


  • Mechanical testing e.g. Rockwell Hardness, Vickers & Micro Vickers Hardness Test etc.


  • Chemical analysis on Optical Emission Spectrometer


  • Maintaining lab cleanliness, reordering supplies, maintaining lab samples & lab records.


  • Implement and uphold the 5S methodology to maintain an organized and efficient production environment


  • Enforce company safety policies rigorously, ensuring a safe workplace for all employees





Job Education, Experience and Requirements:



  • The position requires a minimum of an Associate Degree or equivalent experience in a technical field. Courses in chemistry, metallurgy, and Heat Treatment are preferred


  • Two to Three (3) years' experience in engineering or a manufacturing environment


  • Basic computer skills in MS Access, Word, Excel


  • Must have the ability to work as part of a team


  • Fluency in the English language
