Job Description

We are currently hiring a Maintenance Supervisor, Brewing in Cincinnati, Ohio

The Maintenance Supervisor will provide leadership and direction to the packaging maintenance department during the required coverage shift. Responsible for repairing, maintaining, improving, and installing machines, tools, and equipment in packaging operations. Drive for the elimination of mechanical causes of failure and ensure the full useful life of assets in coordination with daily maintenance completed by the maintenance team. This position reports to the Packaging Maintenance Manager.

What You'll Brew:



  • Supervises teams that are responsible for all aspects of Brewery maintenance, including high

    speed Packaging equipment, Utilities (NH3, compressed air, CO2, steam & condensate), Brewery

    equipment, and Electrical distribution & controls
  • Drives craft efficiency and effectiveness by directing Maintenance team activities and enabling

    work through communication, removal of barriers, coordination with peers and other departments,

    and escalation as needed. Is present on the floor to ensure quality of work and prioritization
  • Utilizes root cause problem solving to eradicate Brewery "bad actors" due to downtime, spend,

    and repeat breakdown occurrences. Builds a culture of reliability on the team and has a "fix it right

    the first time" mentality
  • Supports the development and continuous improvement of the team's skillsets through training

    identification, skills assessments, and on-the-floor coaching
  • Leads the hiring process for filling team headcount gaps, considering skills requirements & Brewery goals when determining new hires



What Ingredients You'll Bring:

Minimum Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, Manufacturing, Production Operations Management or equivalent work experience required
  • 1+ years of experience in maintenance supervision
  • Experience with a computer-based preventative maintenance program
  • Working knowledge of computer systems and data processing (i.e., M.S. Office)
  • Familiar with high volume automated packaging equipment
  • Knowledge of machine shop, welding fabrication, hydraulics, pneumatics, troubleshooting, mechanical principles, machining practices, the properties of metals, and the application of mathematics and dimensions to production machinery and tooling


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Food/Beverage industry experience preferred
  • PLC knowledge and experience are a plus.
  • Experience implementing Lean / 6S projects in a high-speed production environment.


Level 7m

In accordance with pay transparency lawsthe salary range for this role if hired is 56,900.00- $109,600.00 annually based on location and the experience level of the candidate. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on individual and company performance. Certain sales positions are also eligible for car allowance.
