What You'll Do in This Position

The hourly base rate of pay for this internship starts at $18.00, and may increase based on major and class standing.

* Position will provide support to Site Training in the creation of graphics, audio, video and podcast as well as ancillary scripting language to create on-line courses, interactive training, V/R and gamification programs to train various disciplines at Savannah River Site (SRS).
* Position will work with training program owners to manage the design, development and implementation of courseware required to comply with training needs within their associated discipline.

Security Clearance Information

SRNS is required by DOE to conduct a pre-employment drug test and background review that includes checks of personal references, credit, criminal records, and employment history, and education verifications. Positions with SRNS may require applicants to obtain and maintain a DOE L or Q-level security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship. Factors such as pre-employment background review results, dual citizenship status, and unpaid and/or unfiled taxes may impact your ability to obtain a security clearance. Qualifications We Require

Must have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5.

Must be a full-time student at an accredited four-year college or university, or within one year after finishing a degree program.

Must have completed freshman year of college.

Must successfully complete Savannah River Site General Employee Training and substance abuse processing.

Other Qualifications

Unofficial transcripts are required and must be uploaded into BrassRing before the job posting closes.

*Experience in Adobe Creative Cloud.
*Knowledge of video production techniques and equipment.
*Working knowledge of photography concepts and lighting.
*Up to date front and backend programming languages.
*Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
*Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
*Perform other duties as assigned, or required, by your manager.
*Normal work location for this position is an office building but may be assigned to work in a process facility, or out in the field.

Qualifications We Desire

*Adobe Premier Pro, Adobe Captivate, videography, photography, graphic design, website development, or eLearning, experience preferred.
