Job Summary

Compass Group is seeking a Culinary System Chef to join our dynamic team. This key role involves managing recipe and menu data within the Webtrition system, ensuring the accuracy, continuity, and validation of all culinary information. You will collaborate with Executive Chefs, wellness directors, and the corporate Webtrition team to ensure smooth data entry, system integration, and process training.

Key Responsibilities:
* Recipe Documentation: Assist with documenting newly developed recipes. Validate and proof recipes for accuracy, including portion sizes and ingredient details before submission.
* System Integration: Oversee the transfer of recipes from legacy systems to Webtrition, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
* Menu Management: Create and maintain menu cycles within the Webtrition platform, and input menus into the system as required.
* Training and Development: Train Executive Chefs and team members on Webtrition processes, ensuring knowledge transfer and adherence to best practices.
* Production Tools: Create and maintain resources such as station books, build cards, shopping lists, and production records to streamline operations.
* User Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Webtrition users, addressing issues and ensuring smooth system functionality.
* Cross Department Communication: Quickly and effectively communicate menu changes and system updates across departments.
* Project Collaboration: Work closely with the Webtrition team on recipe and menu approval processes and contribute to additional culinary projects as assigned.
* Gap Analysis: Identify inefficiencies or gaps in current processes and work proactively to implement improvements.
* Data Analytics: Analyze data and generate reports to support decision-making and assess menu performance.
* Cost Management: Monitor and analyze food costs associated with recipes and menu items. Work with procurement teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure budget adherence.
* Other Duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

* Education & Experience:

o Associates degree in Culinary Arts, Food Service Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
o Minimum of 3 years of management experience in a culinary or food service setting.
o 3-5 years of experience with production systems, ideally Webtrition.
o Registered Dietitian credential (preferred but not required).

Skills:

o Mastery of Excel and other data management tools.
o Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams.
o High attention to detail and ability to proof and validate large quantities of data.
o Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
o Ability to lead and coach staff and deliver training to large teams.
o Experience in developing and maintaining resources and training materials for end users.
o Ability to work in a fast-paced, change-driven environment.
