Position Description

Will perform basic material handling activities. Identify, label and pull parts to fulfill customer orders. Receives parts and assemblies from manufacturing and processes work orders built by manufacturing. Package customer orders as required. Performs appropriate transactions in ERP system. Utilize lifting equipment such as pallet jack or forklift. Maintains a clean and safe work environment.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Stock and transact material from receiving dock or receiving inspection in ERP system
  • Stock and transact material from manufacturing orders (sub-assembly, machine shop, spare parts) in ERP system
  • Run backorder reports and pull parts to meet deadlines for manufacturing, assembly and test and spares orders
  • Rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
  • Works under direct supervision

Skills & Abilities

Required

  • Ability to work in a team environment in a safe manner
  • Ability to lift from one to thirty pounds
  • Strong attention to detail

Preferred

  • Previous experience operating a forklift, hand truck, hoists, conveyors or other handling equipment to move material to and from trucks and within the storage facility
  • Previous experience with JDE system
  • Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Previous experience working in a manufacturing facility
  • Ability to flex positions and help team members, if needed

Qualifications

  • High school degree or GED, or equivalent
  • 3-5 years of experience working in manufacturing supporting production
  • Has knowledge of commonly used practices and procedures within the field

Compensation Details

Hourly: $21.00 - $23.00
