AUT Scanner Technician (Fixed Term 12 Months)

Functions

• Follow up directives given by the AUT Operator/ Supervisor.
  
• Adjustments to ultrasonic scanner head as instructed by AUT Operators to ensure recognized standards are met
  
• Have clear communication with the AUT operator during inspection
  
• Mark defect repair areas at the discretion of the AUT operator
  
• Maintain the NDT equipment and report the breakdown of part/s items to the supervisor
  
• Assist in making AUT set-ups for qualification and validation activities
  
• Update the AUT operator on the status of the preparations, execution, problems foreseen or encountered, and improvements for current or upcoming projects.

PCN/ CSWIP/ ASNT - UT - Level 2 - Ultrasonic Testing (E)

PCN/ CSWIP/ ASNT - MT - Level 2 - Magnetic Particle Testing (P)

PCN/ CSWIP/ ASNT - PT - Level 2 - Dye/ Liquid Penetrant Testing (P)

Third Party ASNT certificate holders will be required to undergo Oceaneering Certification, and successful completion is a mandatory requirement to acquire this position.
